Older video releases of Leo The Lion

Before the new DVDs became available, this series has had many incomplete releases on home video in English. Most releases had each episode shortened by 3 to 5 minutes or more for no good reason, because in every case the entire episode had been dubbed into English. Here is information about past releases to home video.

21 episodes were released on DVD in the US (?--perhaps they're Canadian). The sound is horribly distorted on all 21 episodes. Also, each episode has as much as 22 percent of the story cut out of it. The DVDs described below are the versions available on Netflix, but you can get the completely restored Leo the Lion series here.

The sound is normal on this disc (perhaps that's why it's a "collectors' edition") but all the episodes are shortened, as listed above.
